Watch: Tractors on parade in Shrewsbury to help hospice
The sun shone and spectators turned out in their droves to watch a fundraising vintage tractor run through the centre of Shrewsbury.
More than 50 vintage tractors assembled at the Meole Brace Park and Ride, where the event began.
The tractors then went along Hazeldine Way up to Ditherington and back into Shrewsbury past the town's railway station.
The tractors then went up Castle Street, through the town centre, over the Welsh Bridge, up Copthorne and round the Roman Road back to where it started at Meole Brace.
Geoff Lamb, co-organiser of the event, said: "It was a very good morning with a very good turnout of spectators, I'd say there were a few hundred who came along which was good to see.
"I estimate around £1,000 was raised for Severn Hospice too which is great but I will confirm that when we have a final figure."
Mr Lamb said he was delighted the event ended up being a success. He added: "
We'd just like to thank everyone who took part in the tractor run as well as thank everyone who came along or supported the event in some way or another."
