Two injured and A458 closed near Bridgnorth after lorry and two cars crash
Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy main road near Bridgnorth today.
The crash happened at about 3.50pm on the A458 Stourbridge Road and saw an HGV, pick-up truck and car collide.
Firefighters from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock were called out to help the Midland Air Ambulance, West Midlands Ambulance Service and police.
Crews said they helped two people out of their cars and one was taken to hospital by land ambulance and one by air ambulance.
The crash happened near the Cross Roads junction, between the villages of Quatt and Claverley.
The accident caused major tailbacks because roadworks are already being carried out on the A442 Kidderminster road and parts of Low Town in Bridgnorth, which link to the A458.

West Mercia Police said crash involved a silver Toyota pick-up, a lorry and a red Kia.
Road blocks were put in place at Six Ashes, Stanmore Island and roads leading off from it.
Meanwhile, two cars were in a collision on the nearby B4176 at Stableford.
Traffic built up around the area at about 3.30pm but no one has been seriously injured.
The crash involved a silver Mercedes and a grey Jaguar and police were directing traffic at the scene.
