Man arrested after drugs find at Market Drayton house
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police searched a house in Market Drayton.
West Mercia Police's safer neighbourhood team for Market Drayton searched an address in the town yesterday morning and discovered a quantity of drugs.
The team, along with police dogs, searched the house under a warrant before arresting the man.
Pc Mick Sturland said: "A local man from Market Drayton was arrested following a warrant executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act."
A Twitter account for the two police dogs posted images of the items allegedly found at the address and said it was a "small example" of what they had to deal with.
Pc Sturland added on Twitter: "Telling us about crime really does make a difference as the morning's warrant has shown – thank you!"
The man has been bailed pending further inquiries.
