Teenage girl pulled to ground by hair in Leominster attack

A teenage girl was pulled to the floor by her hair at the roadside in Leominster during an assault.

Police are trying to locate the good samaritan who helped the girl following the assault on South Street in Leominster on Thursday, October 15 at about 3.15pm.

The incident occurred near a pelican crossing close to traffic lights by Earl Mortimer College.

The victim, a 15 year- old- girl, felt somebody grab her ponytail causing her to fall to the floor. As a result the victim has sustained grazes to her knees and pain to her head.

Following the incident, the victim was picked up by a female motorist and drove off in the direction of the town centre.

The motorist is thought to have witnessed the incident and then come to help the victim after seeing her distress.

At the time of the incident, it is thought that there would have also been a number of school students from the nearby college who may have witnessed the incident.
