Liam Lutner, 15, of Wood Lane in Hinstock, near Market Drayton, died in the early hours of September 26.

Liam's family and friends paid tribute to him and called him a "cheeky teenager" who "touched a lot of people with his sparkle".

The teenager attended Woodlands Centre in Wem where staff described him as a "much loved member" of the school.

His funeral service will be held on November 12 at noon at St Oswalds Church in Hinstock.

Flowers will be acceptable or donations can be made to the church.

A tribute from Liam's family said: "He was really enjoying school at Woodlands. He was doing so well and was a real star pupil. He liked cooking, woodwork, maths and design and technology and he was a very good cook.

"He had some wild and wonderful wacky ideas and was always very creative.

"Liam also helped on the farm and was great with his own animals – he hatched chickens, looked after the cows and he had ferrets as well.

"Fishing was his main thing and he was in quite a few junior competitions but he had started to play football as well and he enjoyed that.

"But he had a superb voice – in his last year at Hinstock Primary School he stood and the front and had a real Susan Boyle moment. He surprised everyone.

"He was a cheeky teenager as well, always very chatty and bubbly and he loved socialising with all his friends."
