Telford man arrested on suspicion of rape in Newport
A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in Newport during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The alleged rape happened on Sunday, November 8, at about 3.30am on the High Street near Boots.
Police taped of the alleyway leading from the High Street to Waitrose for most of Sunday morning while investigations were being carried out.
Connie Osborne, spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called to High Street, in Newport, at 3.34am on Sunday.
"An investigation is currently ongoing.
"A 20-year-old man from Telford has been arrested on suspicion of rape."
