Terror for pensioners as gang force their way into Telford home

A gang of men pushed their way through the front door of a Telford house and threatened the two elderly women and man inside, before making off with items of jewellery.

Three men knocked the door of a home on Leonard Close in Donnington, at around 8.20pm on Wednesday.

A 76-year-old man opened it and the men forced their way inside and threatened the occupants.

The offenders searched the property and left the house through the front door with various items of jewellery.

One man was white with dark eyes, of small to medium build and was wearing a rolled up woolly hat.

A second man was white, wearing a full balaclava, blue jeans, grey top and black woollen gloves.

A third man was dressed all in black and was also wearing a balaclava.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or has information about the robbery, should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 690s of November 18.
