Man arrested in Telford drugs raid

A man has been arrested in a drugs raid by police in Telford as part of a nationwide crackdown on foreign offenders in the UK.

Officers from West Mercia Police arrested a man in Brookside at 11.10am today on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply.

The arrest was made as part of Operation Trivium, a nationwide offensive against foreign offenders operating or sheltering in the UK.

Officers from West Mercia Police have also made arrests in Leominster and Reddich today through work under the operation.
