James Stocks, 24, was handed an eight-month sentence after he pulled off the two heart-stopping overtakes on the A495 near Bronington.

The dangerous driver's black Volkswagen nipped past a silver Ford Ka on a blind bend, causing a Ford Transit van to take avoiding action and swerve on to a verge.

He then speeds past a grey 4x4 vehicle on a blind bend and comes close to colliding with a white Vauxhall Insignia.

But Stocks, from Tilson, Cheshire, was unaware that he was being filmed by a dash cam in the car behind and the footage was posted on the website of PoliceWitness, an organisation who work with the police to bring driving convictions.

Stocks pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and was imprisoned for eight month, given a fine, as well as being banned from getting behind the wheel for two years and four months.
