Man robbed on way home from work in Telford
A man was robbed as he walked home from work in Telford to the railway station.
The robbery took place as the man, in his 20s, walked in Priorslee between his place of work off Shifnal Road and Telford Central railway station.
Two men approached the victim as he exited the the A5 underpass on Monday at 6.05pm.
The men asked for his phone and money.
He was then grabbed by one of the men, causing him to fall on the ground - the victim only received slight injuries, which did not require any treatment.
During the attack some money was also taken.
Both suspects are believed to be white, of average height and they made off on foot away from the train station.
A spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said: "We are doing all we can to trace the suspects in this attack.
"We would urge anyone who may have been near the underpass at around 6pm, and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us."
