Shropshire farmer's last journey - pulled by his beloved tractor
Throughout his life, Shropshire pig farmer Kenneth Edge's old tractor was his pride and joy.
He would take it with him to shows and used it to deliver logs to homes nearby.
So it was somewhat fitting that Mr Edge, who died on December 3 at the age of 75, was taken to his funeral on a trailer pulled by his faithful tractor.
More than 100 people turned out for Mr Edge's funeral at St Mary's Church in Whixall, near Whitchurch, on Saturday to say their final goodbyes.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Edge by his family, who described him as a "very friendly and honest man".
Daughter Jakki Loughlin said: "The funeral procession involved my dad's tractor which has been in the family for 40 years.
"My dad bought it brand new. He would use it to cut logs. He has also been taking it to lots of shows. He loved vintage tractors. As well as a pig farmer he used to saw trees and deliver logs years ago.
"He was also very friendly, very honest, and he would do anything for anybody. He was very much the outdoor type.
"The church was packed and it was great to see so many people paying tributes to him.
"Lots of people came to the wake after as well. People were all sharing stories about him. The whole family would like to thank everyone who came."
Mr Edge lived in Whixall and Penley, near Ellesmere. He died at Edgeley House Nursing Home in Whitchurch and is survived by his wife Margaret, their five children, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
