Teenage Telford knifeman threatened people in church near Welshpool
A Telford teenager has been handed a suspended jail term for waving a knife around and threatening three people in a church.

Steven William Carlisle, 18, of Saville Close, Wellington, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates Court yesterday.
Carlisle had previously admitted possessing a knife in a public place and using threatening behaviour towards the victims.
He was arrested after he was reported for making threats while waving a knife around in Trelystan Church, Forden, near Welshpool, on September 2.
Magistrates sentenced him to six weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and with a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
They also ordered him to pay a £180 court charge and £80 victim surcharge, and ordered the destruction of the knife.
