One cut free after crash on A49 near Craven Arms

A woman in her 50s has escaped serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the A49 at Onibury, near Craven Arms at about 10am this morning after the crash.

Crews from Craven Arms and Wellington were sent to the accident and one person had to be cut free from their vehicle.

Police and ambulance services were also at the scene and traffic built up around the area while emergency services worked.

One woman was treated for injuries by West Midlands Ambulance Service and was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Firefighters left the crash at 10.30am.
