Police renew appeal for witnesses after cashpoint stolen from front of bank

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a cashpoint was ripped from a bank with a stolen JCB.

At least three or four masked Balaclava-clad offenders used a digger to rip the machine from Lloyds Bank on the High Street, Cleobury Mortimer, at 3.11am on December 21.

The culprits fled in a red Land Rover that was found burnt out in Hasfield, Gloucester, the following day.

The digger was found had already been discovered near the scene and is believed to have been stolen.

Connie Osborne, of West Mercia Police, said investigations were today continuing and no arrests had yet been made.
