Van 'pretending' to be police vehicle seen on A5 in Shropshire
Officers are asking for help to track a van which was made to look like a police vehicle.
The white van was seen parked on the A5 near Gobowen on January 8 at about 4pm.
It had flashing blue lights on the grill and was pretending to be a police vehicle, causing passing traffic to pull over.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0444s of January 8.
Three burglaries also took place on the same day. The first happened between 10.30am and 3.45pm at a house in Old Chirk Road, Gobowen. Jewellery was taken. The incident number is 0427s.
Between 2pm and 3pm, a neighbouring property was also broken into. Jewellery, a set of car keys and a blue Vauxhall Corsa was taken. The incident number is 0384s.
At about 6pm on the same day, three men dressed in black are believed to have taken a wallet containing cash and loyalty cards from a filing cabinet at a business unit in Mile Oak Industrial Estate, Maesbury. The police incident number is 0556s.
