Casualty taken to hospital after getting trapped between wall and roadsweeper in Craven Arms
A man has been freed and taken to hospital after his legs became trapped between a wall and a roadsweeper this afternoon.
The incident happened on Grove Drive, in Craven Arms at about 11.30am this morning.
Emergency services were sent to the scene, where the fire service were able to free the man after about 30 minutes.
Jamie Arrowsmith, of West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 11.30am to reports of a man, who was trapped by his legs.
"We are still on scene and the patient as taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital."
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We released one male from a small road sweeper.
"He was left in care of the ambulance service."
Four crews from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Wellington were sent to scene, along with an operation officer.
The condition of the injured man is not currently known.
