Firefighters called to pump out flooded cellar at pub near Newport
Firefighters were called to deal with a flood in the cellar of a village pub near Newport today.

It happened in The Aston in Church Aston, shortly before midday.
Firefighters from Newport were called to the pub and used a light portable pump to remove the water,
Staff from the pub said they called the fire service after being concerned about water coming into contact with electricity cables.
The pub opened to customers at 1pm.
