Driver dies after 'medical episode at the wheel' on Shropshire border
A driver died in his car after what police say may have been a medical episode in Tenbury Wells.
Police are investigating the incident whihc happened on the B4112 at Oldwood Common, Tenbury Wells and officers are appealing for information from the public.
At about 4pm on Wednesday, January 20, a 64-year-old man was driving his silver Peugeot 806 car towards Tenbury Wells when it crossed the opposite carriageway, left the road and came to rest on grassland.
It was discovered by passers by who called emergency services but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Investigating officers believe that the man may have suffered a medical episode at the wheel but would like to hear from anyone who saw the car, and the manner of driving, before it left the road."
