Shropshire people are being given further opportunities to have their say about the way healthcare will be delivered for the next 20 years.

In the coming weeks NHS Future Fit pop-up stands will be at a number of locations in the county.

The events are part of an ongoing conversation with people to help deliver the necessary changes to give patients the healthcare they need.

There will be an opportunity to get information, ask questions and meet some of the people who are leading the programme.

The next event will be on Tuesday, February 9 at Whitchurch Community Hospital from 10am until 2pm.

This will be followed by an event at the same time on Wednesday, February 10 at Bishops Castle Community Hospital.

And on Tuesday, February 16 there will be an event in the Pride Hill Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury from 9am until 5pm.

Dr Michael Innes, Stirchley GP and chairman of Telford & Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group, will be attending the event at Pride Hill Shopping Centre.

He said: "It's important that people know about the work we're doing to improve healthcare.

"These pop-up events allow us to meet people in convenient locations. This is an issue in which everyone locally has a stake, and I always enjoy the opportunity of meeting them, listening to their opinions and answering their questions when I can."
