Shropshire border man admits child sex charges
A man from the Shropshire border has admitted a series of child sex charges.
David Philip Francis, 60, admitted performing an indecent act in the presence of a child and photographing himself doing it.
Francis, of Bronywaun, Chirk, near Oswestry, also admitted charges of making indecent images and films by downloading them from the internet and distributing them.
Sentencing was adjourned at Mold Crown Court yesterday so that the issue of risk can be assessed.
Francis appeared via a TV link from Altcourse Prison in Liverpool. He admitted a total of 18 offences.
Alun Williams, defending, said his client was a man of no previous convictions.
Judge Gaynor Lloyd granted an application by prosecuting barrister Simon Rogers to remand the defendant in custody pending sentence.
