Crispin Wrigley, 39, from Cabin Lane, Oswestry, and Krissy Simonds, 33, of the same address, face 32 charges of failing to comply with any requirements imposed by an inspector in relation to an event held at Academy Skatepark near Oswestry on October 31, 2014.

The charges were brought by Shropshire Fire and Rescue.

Wrigley also faces a charge of perverting the course of justice in that he failed to tell police investigating the death of Matthew Jones on November 1, 2014, of the existence of a basement area.

Magistrates in Shrewsbury yesterday released the pair on unconditional bail and they will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on March 22.

Mr Jones, 20, of Johnstown, near Wrexham, died after a party at the skate park.
