People seen climbing on Market Drayton high school's roof

A group of people was spotted climbing on to the roof of a Market Drayton secondary school.

They were seen on to the roof of the Grove School.

Constable Mick Sturland, of Market Drayton safer neighbourhood team, said: "Not only is this trespass, but it is also highly dangerous as it is unknown how fragile parts of the roof are.

"The risk of a fall is high and the consequences of that are obvious.

"Any damage caused will be dealt with by the police in partnership with the school."
