Led by inspector Lesley Bott, they found that the nursery, which caters for children aged between 0-five years old and employs 16 members of staff, was outstanding in all areas.

In her report Ms Bott said: "The management team is fully committed and passionate in their pursuit of excellence.

"They have an enthusiastic and vibrant drive to maintain the highest levels of achievement for all children. Children's behaviour at all times is exemplary and staff are excellent role models. Children very quickly develop a superb understanding of tolerance and respect for each other."

Katie Phillips, director of the nursery, which also has a sister branch in Hook-A-Gate said: "We are absolutely delighted to have once again received an outstanding grading in an Ofsted report. There has been a lot of hard work put into the business over the last 14 years and this outstanding reflects the dedication of all concerned."
