A pile of fly-tipping which was set on fire just off Hadley Road saw flames spread into bushes.
The blaze was tackled by fire crews from Wellington Station, who used hoses to put out the fire.
The fire was reported just after 9pm yesterday and crews took 20 minutes to extinguish it.
