Replica handguns, knives and drugs seized in Shropshire raid
Two replica handguns and knives were among the items seized in a raid which took place at a property in Whitchurch.
A 31 year-old man from Whitchurch has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and possession of a firearm without a certificate. He is currently in police custody.
A West Mercia Police spokesman, said: "A warrant took place at a property on Claypit Street, Whitchurch at approximately 9.15am today.
"A suspected class B drug, believed to be cannabis, and a selection of weapons, including a suspected stungun, replica handguns and knives, were seized from the address.
"Investigations are ongoing."
The drugs warrant was carried out by West Mercia Police's Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Team and the team was led by Constable Deborah Wheeler.
