20 jobs created in Whitchurch Starbucks
Twenty jobs have been created in a Shropshire town after a coffee chain opened its doors.
A drive-through Starbucks opened in Whitchurch yesterday.
The coffee shop will open seven days a week on land that was formally used as a car wash.
The new Starbucks store is the 59th to be opened by franchisee partner Euro Garages, with indoor and outdoor seating and facilities for commuters.
Mo Tayab, brand manager for Euro Garages, said: "We're thrilled to be opening a new Starbucks store in the area.
"We're looking forward to building relationships with the local community and getting to know our neighbours."
Simon Redfern, Starbucks communications director for Europe, said: "We were delighted to open our new store.
"It's particularly exciting to be opening the first Starbucks drive-through in the Whitchurch area and we're all looking forward to becoming part of the local community."
