Man bit victim's lip in Shropshire pub attack

A man had his bottom lip bitten during an attack at a Shifnal pub.

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault in the Winking Frog pub on Aston Street in Shifnal, Shropshire in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was at the bar when a man approached him and bit his bottom lip, causing slight injuries.

The suspect was described as a white man, around 5ft 9in and of medium build. He has short dark brown hair with a curl on top.

Anyone who was in the pub at the time, or who may have any information is urged to contact PC Brett Tyson on 101 quoting incident number 61 of April 2.
