Dog dragged around by lead behind car in Shropshire seriously injured
A dog suffered serious injuries after being dragged behind a vehicle by its lead.

A woman was seen driving along Aston Street in Wem with a white westland terrier dog attached to a retractable lead by the collar dragging behind the vehicle.
As a result of this the dog sustained serious injuries to its front legs and mouth.
Police say the woman was seen driving a red Volkswagen Lupo at about 9.40pm on Sunday.
An off duty police officer was able to rescue the dog and police are now working with the RSPCA to investigate the incident. The female driver is assisting with enquiries.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 677 of April 17.
