Mobility scooter man rescued from Telford lift
A man using a mobility scooter was trapped in a lift in a leisure centre for an hour and a half.

Firefighters were called in to help free the man from the lift at the Oakengates Leisure Centre just before 2.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Telford Central and Wellington were able to free the man from the lift.
They used a stretcher from the ambulance service and the disabled man was freed by 4.10pm.
