Boy left with bloody nose in Telford attempted robbery

A teenager was left with a bloody nose after a youth tried to steal his mobile phone in Telford.

The attempted robbery took place on New Street in Dawley as the 14-year-old boy was walking along the road listening to music.

As the boy approached the bus stop another teenage boy walking towards him attempted to grab the phone out of his hand.

The victim struggled for his phone and an altercation took place.

The teenager was left with a nosebleed and the offender then ran off without the phone.

The offender is described as a male, aged around 15 or 16, approximately 5ft 8in and of an average build.

He was described as wearing a black scarf covering his face with a white skull on the part covering his chin, and a full dark blue Adidas tracksuit with white stripes on the arms and legs.

The attempted robbery happened on 7.30am on Tuesday.
