Firefighters tackle farm blaze near Shrewsbury

Fire crews spent almost three hours battling an outbuilding fire near Shrewsbury.

Two fire engines from Minsterley and Shrewsbury were sent to the fire at Warwick Farm in Stretton Heath, near Halfway House, at about 12.45am this morning.

An operations officer was in attendance and crews used a hosereel jet to tackle the fire.

The fire involved a single storey, brick built outbuilding, approximately 5m x 10m.

Crews left about 3.15am.
