Burst water pipe hits supplies in Whitchurch
A burst water pipe has left properties in Whitchurch without water or with low water pressure today.
Homes ands businesses are affected due to a burst water pipe which was noticed this morning.
Severn Trent Water said staff are working around the clock to solve the issue.
A spokeswoman said: "We've discovered a burst water pipe in Whitchurch SY13 which may be causing water supplies to be off or at low pressure for some of our customers.
"Our teams are out on site now and will work around the clock to get this pipe fixed and everything back to normal as quickly as possible.
"We know how difficult it is to have no water, especially at this time of day, and we're sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing.
"We'd like to reassure our customers that we're doing everything we can to get the water supplies back on as soon as we can.
"We're hoping that most customers will have their supply back on in the next few hours.
