Inquests open into two Market Drayton men killed in Shifnal air crash

The inquests of two men who died following an aircraft crash were opened this morning.

Michael Sumner, 66, and Tony Crocombe, 64, both from Market Drayton, died when a microlight aircraft crashed into a field on the outskirts of Shifnal.

The inquest was opened this morning at Shirehall in Shrewsbury by senior coroner for Shropshire and Telford John Ellery.

Both inquests were adjourned to a later date.
