Shropshire weather: Here's one reason to look on the bright side of our soggy summer

Shrewsbury Food Festival last weekend reported a 6,000 drop in attendance, purely down to a showery Sunday afternoon. It is a pattern that is likely to continue this weekend, plaguing scores of fetes, carnival and open garden events.
