Train delays between Shrewsbury and Wrexham during morning rush hour
Train commuters had to get a bus to work this morning after a signal box employee called in sick.

The Shrewsbury to Chester train line was closed at 6am with road transport brought it to cover stations along the line including Gobowen and Chirk.
It is understood the problem was with a lack of staff at Gobowen signal box.
An Arriva trains spokesman said: "There were cancellations to services between Chester and Shrewsbury. Due to signalling staff being taken ill between Wrexham General and Shrewsbury all lines were closed."
The line was re-opened at 11am.
