Wellington Market stallholders up in arms over 'no loading' error
Stall holders at Wellington Market were up in arms when a 'no loading' sign appeared outside in error.
Parking restrictions outside the market, which also included double yellow lines and kerb markings, were said to have been placed in error.
During improvement works, contractors put down the markings in the wrong place and Telford & Wrekin Council spokesman Russell Griffin says the issue was being fixed.
He said: "It has become apparent that during some recent improvement works there has been a contractor error on site and - while the loading bay has not been removed in its entirety - it should have remained as existing.
"We have arranged for the contractor to attend again today and put this right.
"We apologise for this, and will be rectifying things as soon as we can."
