Wrekin Retail Park tragedy: Tributes paid to Wellington's Janet Lane
Further tributes have been paid to 73-year-old Janet Lane who died after being struck by a van at Telford's Wrekin Retail Park.
Mrs Lane, of Woodhouse Crescent, Trench, was crossing the road at the retail park when she was struck on November 22.
She died from multiple injuries in the incident, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin coroner John Ellery, was told as her inquest this week.
After Mrs Lane was named, tributes flooded in to the Shropshire Star's Facebook page.
Val Lord said: "You were so young at heart I am so honoured to have been part of your life for the past 36 years. You have left a great hole in mine my children and grandchildren's lives. To lose you in this way should never happened it wasn't your time xxx."
Jane Pennell said: "RIP Janet my thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time xx."
Lisa Latham said: "Love and thoughts are with your family Jan. I still can't quite get my head round it."
Lisa Jaynett Ball: said: "Grown up living around corner from you Jan very sad ...beautiful lady... RIP xx."
Clare Lea added: "Such a shame,thoughts go out to your family. Sleep tight xx"
The inquest heard Mrs Lane, who was born in Knighton, Powys, suffered serious injuries when she was struck by the Volkswagen van.
The inquest was adjourned until March 29, to take place at Telford Register Office.
