Shropshire couple's Christmas lights raise money for charity that helps grandson
A couple have adorned their Shropshire house with Christmas lights in order to raise money for the charity that has supported their grandson.
Every year Tina and Bryan Williams cover their house and garden in Edgebolton, near Shawbury, with Christmas lights.
The couple put the lights up in the hope they can raise money for Hope House, which provides respite care for their grandson Nathan Jarvis.
Mr Williams, aged 68, said: "We have been doing it for about 15 years now and every year I want to create a bigger and better display.

"I started doing it for my grandchildren when they were younger and then as we learned what an amazing charity Hope House is we wanted to raise money for them. It is a fantastic place. We have been behind the scenes and seen first-hand how dedicated the staff are."
"They have one staff member looking after one child so they really get to know who they are looking after.
"My grandson has been in hospital for about 17 weeks this year and had about seven operations.
"Throughout this difficult time Hope House has provided respite care and how been amazing.
"Nathan is now 20-years-old and cannot communicate. He is fed through a tube and cannot walk or talk.
"We have been using Hope House for about 18 years and I do not know what we would have done without them.
"All we are asking for is for people to drop off a donation through our letter box when they come to see the lights.
"I do car boot sales as well and raise as much money as I can."
Mr Williams said each year he tries to create a new display.
He said: "I have probably spent about £500 on the lights. I try and mix it up and do a different display each year.
"I often get my lights in the January sale and save them till the next Christmas.
"There is still space on the lawn to expand again next year."
