Crews tackle chip shop blaze
Four separate fire crews were deployed to tackle a chip shop fire this evening.
Mid and West Wales fire crews from Llanfair, Montgomery, Llanfyllin and Welshpool were all in attendance at the incident in Llanfair Caereinion.
It is believed the fire started shortly before 4.30pm, and crews used breathing apparatus and thermal imaging equipment to put out the blaze.
No casualties were reported but there was heavy smoke damage inside the property.
