Police and an air ambulance rescued the man who had fallen at Llanymynech Rocks at around 6pm.

The man was taken to hospital by the Welsh Air Ambulance at around 6pm after police officers from Welshpool helped retrieve him.

It is not yet known how badly hurt the man was.

Llanymynech Rocks is a former quarry next to Llanymynech Golf Club just off the A483 between Llanymynech and Pant.
