Future Fit: Shrewsbury MP seeks May's help on Shropshire health shake-up
Shrewsbury & Atcham MP Daniel Kawczynski today called in the House of Commons for Prime Minister Theresa May to help get the Shropshire's long-delayed Future Fit process moving.
At Prime Minister's Questions he told her: "We have been waiting for a decision on this issue for many years.
"Could the Prime Minister use her good offices to ensure this vital scheme is supported in the coming weeks so we can secure this vital investment for Shropshire NHS?"
Mrs May replied: "My honourable friend is right to speak up for the NHS in Shropshire in the way has done.
"He will be pleased to see that my Right Honourable Friend the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care heard his comments and I think will be contacting him about this issue."
