WATCH: Road turned to river as village becomes latest rain victim
Pontesbury was the latest area to be hit by flash floods after brief but torrential rain.
Police, fire crews and the Red Cross attended the village near Shrewsbury on Saturday evening after reports of houses being flooded.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said: "Fire control have received numerous calls to flooding of domestic properties in Pontesbury.
"Two fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury."
Shrewsbury Police posted a video on Twitter showing water rushing down Station Road and pooling on Minsterley Road where drains were struggling to cope.

The flood was just the latest isolated torrent to hit Shropshire in what's been a week of sun, showers and storms.
The rain hammered Pontesbury one day after fierce downpours caused similar scenes in Shrewsbury and Newport.
Stretches of road in Coleham Head and Frankwell were submerged within minutes of the rain starting in Shrewsbury on Friday. And on Thursday 20 homes were damaged when localised showers caused flash flooding in Shropshire.
At the end of last week Albrighton and Muxton suffered along with many other areas in the West Midlands when lightning, rain and thunderstorms struck over the bank holiday weekend.
