Firefighters spend three hours at pub tumble dryer blaze
Firefighters spent three hours tackling a blaze at a pub.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Crews were called to a fire at the Lowfield Inn in Marton, near the border with Powys, at around 8.38pm on Monday.
Crews spent almost three hours at the scene after a fire had started involving a tumble dryer and cleaning fluids.
Two crews from Minsterley used a covering jet, a hosereel jet and breathing apparatus at the pub, which is on the B4386 near Welshpool.
The crews and the operations officer left the scene at around 11.45pm.
