Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints set up a community foundation back in October 2013, and later this year it will turn five.

It holds the most community activities out of other organisations in the county, and caters for children across the county.

It has grown and grown, with money being put into community projects and jobs being created.

Gill Jones, who runs the foundation, is delighted with the work and progress that has been made by the foundation over the years.

She said: "We have so many activities and events on, and it is giving something to the community.

"We are in eight different locations every week, have holiday camps and a host of other things.

"There are a number of other things we do behind the scenes, that sometimes people don't see."

People in the town know about the work the foundation does with children, but Gill says they work with people of all ages.

They provide sessions and classes for people who struggle with mobility problems, and it shows the club does things people don't see according to Gill.

She added: "There is a lot people don't see, such as the work with older people who struggle with mobility.

"There are a lot of things people don't see, and there is a lot the foundation and the football club do.

"It will be great when we get to the fifth birthday later this year, because it shows what great work has been done so far."
