Armed police in Mid Wales estate
An armed police operation took place on a housing estate in a Mid Wales town on Monday.
Dyfed-Powys Officers carried out the operation shortly before 1.30pm on Monday on the Tan y Graig estate in Machynlleth, after reports of a man making threats to kill while brandishing a knife.
Police attended at a 47-year-old man was taken into custody.
A spokeswoman for the police said officers attended and the suspect left the property of his own accord at around 3.50pm.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
