It is easy to submit your pictures. Simply use the upload form below – it only takes a few moments. Or you can email your images to newsroom@shropshirestar.co.uk

A tranquil scene on the Mere in Ellesmere

Our photographs were captured during this week’s autumn sunshine by Star photographer Jamie Ricketts. One shows volunteer Brian Slater clearing leaves at Cremorne Gardens in Ellesmere and the other is a tranquil scene on the Mere.

It has been a fantastic start to the autumn in Shropshire. After a couple of storms, the last week has seen sunshine and warm temperatures.

The calm conditions will stay for a little while yet, although it will get colder, especially at night.
