Shropshire main road closure after accident
A road near Shrewsbury was closed to traffic after a collision during rush-hour. Emergency crews were called to the A488 between Lea Cross and Cruckmeole shortly after 5pm on Thursday.

Motorists were caught up in queues from Hanwood near the A5.
In a Twitter post West Mercia Police urged drivers to avoid the area.
