Man injured in garage roof fall in Telford
A man was left with potentially serious injuries after falling onto a garage roof in Telford.
Firefighters helped the man down from the roof in Morville Drive, Wellington, before he was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the scene just after 3pm and were joined by two fire crews around 30 minutes later.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 3.14pm to reports of a patient who had fallen on Morville Drive in Telford.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was on a garage roof.
"He was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment."
Firefighters from Telford Central and Wellington stations were sent and used a ladder to get the male to the ground.
