Crews called out to grass fires in Telford and Shrewsbury

Shropshire Fire crews were called out to deal with a number of small grass fires in Telford and Shrewsbury.

They attended a fire in Moston Road, Harlescott, Shrewsbury, around 5,45pm on Thursday and then at 6pm, hedges and undergrowth were on fire at Monkmoor Avenue, Shrewsbury.

A crew from Telford was called out at 5.30pm to deal with two small fires at New Road, Wrockwardine Wood at the rear of the leisure centre.
