In flight: Stunning Shropshire swallow photo makes it on to BBC Countryfile calendar
This stunning image of a swallow emerging from a nestbox taken by an amateur Shropshire photographer has made it to the BBC’s annual Countryfile calendar.

‘Swallowed Hole’ was submitted by Terry Moore, an amateur nature photographer who lives near Church Stretton.
The image also caught the eye of judges John Craven, Hamza Yassin and Edith Bowman, who named it their favourite and rewarded him with him with a special prize and a £500 gift voucher towards photographic equipment.
